Refund policy

This policy applies to purchases made through brahmadiam.com.

Returning an item

You may change your mind and notify us within 14 calendar days after receiving your item. You then have a further 14 calendar days from your notification to send it back.

You do not need to give a reason. You can notify us through our Contact page or another published contact method. Clearly state that you wish to cancel or return your purchase, and include your order number if available.

We will provide the return address and packing and customs instructions promptly. Your right to cancel does not depend on our approval.

Inspecting your gemstone

You may inspect the gemstone as you would in a shop. Please do not set, recut or otherwise alter it before deciding whether to keep it.

Return the gemstone securely protected, together with any laboratory report supplied with your order. Original packaging is helpful but is not required to exercise your statutory cancellation rights.

Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced to reflect actual loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item. This does not affect your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.

Return shipping

For a change-of-mind return, you pay the return shipping costs. We recommend a tracked service with insurance covering the item’s value and keeping proof of dispatch.

If we sent the wrong item, or it arrived damaged or was not as described, we cover the return shipping costs. Please contact us so we can arrange the appropriate return method.

Fees and delivery charges

We do not charge a restocking fee or deduct our original free standard shipping cost from your refund.

For change-of-mind returns, the optional US$40 express upgrade is not refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise. This does not limit your rights if an item is wrong, damaged or not as described.

Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of receiving your cancellation notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever happens first.

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund.

Repeat-production gemstones

Our standard catalogue and repeat-production gemstones are covered by this return policy. A gemstone is not excluded simply because it is manufactured repeatedly.

Your consumer rights

The 14-day change-of-mind period does not limit your statutory rights concerning faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods. Nothing in this policy restricts rights provided by applicable consumer law.
