This repeat-production 12 × 6 mm Czochralski-pulled lab-grown alexandrite is cut in our Dutch Marquise trade style, with an elongated-hexagon outline and broad modified step facets. It generally appears teal blue-green and shows a restrained shift toward muted mauve-purple under different lighting. Each supplied stone is individually faceted in our Bangkok cutting facility.

Appearance & Cutting

The Dutch Marquise trade cut combines an elongated six-sided outline with broad modified step facets, creating a clean architectural appearance with mirror-like reflections and alternating areas of light and contrast. The sample GFCO report records the laboratory shape as hexagon and the cut as Fancy and Step Modified. The photographed reference stone is visually estimated to show an approximately 20% slight color change. An individual supplied stone is selected for a similar color character, but the precise response may vary with the stone, light source, viewing angle, surroundings and display settings.

The photographed reference stone measures 11.99 × 6.10 × 5.00 mm and weighs 2.25 ct; supplied weight and depth vary.
