CHARACTER AND SETTING IDEAS

The shallow portrait octagon step cut has an open center and stronger blue around the outline. This stone is not deeply saturated and is not conventionally proportioned as a deep sapphire. A custom ring or pendant design with a protective setting is worth considering.
