Sri Lanka, historically known in the gem trade as Ceylon, is the mining origin recorded for this sapphire. The stone is heated. It was faceted at our own colored-gemstone cutting facility in Bangkok, Thailand; Thailand is therefore the manufacturing and customs origin.
